The Joelex Franchise/Partner Opportunity
Joelex Uganda is looking for potential Partners / Franchise who are interested in owning and operating a profitable sanitation business. Joelex constructs sanitation facilities to the densely populated areas of Kampala, at affordable prices as it continues to expand across border districts.
Qualifications
To be considered for a potential franchise opportunity, Joelex asks that you demonstrate the following:
We would want to work with people who have the capacity to keep up with business sustainability.
- The franchisee must be registered or able to secure operating license from local authority
- Must have or be able to raise minimum capital for operation of the facility
- Must have or be able to provide proof of reserve capital to run facility when business in low
- Must be moderately literate to interpret & sign legal documents with Joelex Uganda, tariffs and revenue sharing
- Can be in position to pay a deposit to franchisor (to be refunded) to guarantee ability
- Preferably able to access funding from the bank
Our potential Franchisee must be desirous and very entrepreneurial. He /she must be
Franchisee must have a business or ever run a business before;
- Franchise should have operated sanitation before or has knowledge about it
- Must have reliable knowledge about the business and area of operation
- Should be having some other business within the location
- Must be willing market the facility and operate it profitability
- Must be good at networking
- Must be Self-driven and motivated, sell the brand of Joelex at good will
- Must be willing to grow the business
- Must be willing to learn and adapt the practices of business
At Joelex, we strive for good work ethics and therefore our potential franchisee;
- Must have no criminal record
- Must be honest in business transactions and punctual
- Must be willing to uphold Joelex’s mission and work standards
- Must be able to prioritize the facilities business
To us, operation of set up facilities is important and our Franchisee must;
- Must easily operate the facility or willing to learn
- Must be willing to train or pay for training of employees
- Must have capability to pay for the maintenance of the facility and repair out of the Joelex’s designated oneness
Because we believe our services need to reach as many people as possible, there is also need for awareness and marketing. Therefore, our franchise;
- Must be able to market the goods and services of the facility
- Must be willing to spread at good will and promote interests of facility
- Must be a good mobilizer and in good terms with the surround community and local leaders
- Must be willing to pay for or construct to marking and awareness cost
- Must have good customer care skills and provisions
- Franchisee should preferably be owned or co-owned by a woman
- Must have 50 – 60% employees being women
- Must be able to offer good care and interest to the women and PWDs
- Must not be partisan or practice nepotism
- Franchisee should be able promote and encourage female gender to use the facility
